Into the Dead iOS Game Reivew

 Into The Dead is a pretty standard 3d non-stop running game but now with Zombies. Will your outrun
the Zombies and just become Zombie chow? This free game does have in-app purchases that can help
speed you’re though your progression.
Story: Into the Dead really is one of those games that has no story, but doesn't need one. From what
you can gather is you just serviced a helicopter crash in a field. You are surrounded by Zombies, so run.



Game Play: Game play is very simple there are only 3 inputs you can do during this game to play.
Depending on control settings you will either tilt you device or touch in specific directions to turn left or
right and tap to fire. These simple controls work great. It starts off easy to avoid the Zombies and you
shortly get weapon by running over crates. You only start off with a pistol but can unlock weapons like
the chainsaw, shotgun, sub-machine gun, grenade,. They are unlocked using earned or bought coins or
when you reach a certain levels. Coins seem cheap enough but I never felt the need to buy any.

Graphics & Sound: The graphics for this game are gray and kind of grainy but this all leads to a very
appropriate atmosphere for this game. You will run through an open fields, corn fields, and some
woods. But none of these are very distinctive. Zombies mostly look the same I would say I have seen
only about 3 or 4 different zombie models. But all in all the game runs very smooth and loads relatively
quickly. The sound is wonderful. There is no music but the sound of the zombies and you running all
leads to a very suspenseful game.

Lasting Appeal: As for all these free games they all have a relatively short lasting appeal for me. But I
can say I have played this a little more than most. There are goals that lend to a feeling of progression
this is also how you level up. There are always 3 tasks to complete to progress. The best thing is you can
skip any for a cost of coins if they get too hard. There are currently two modes Classic (service as long
as you can) and Massacre (kill as many zombies you can). There is no multiplayer but you can compare
your score through Game Center.

Final Thoughts: If you enjoy the running games and zombies this is a no brainer. It is free and fun. I
know there are more than enough zombie games on the app store, but I still can’t get enough.
